What to expect…
Patients typically get a series of 3 to 6 treatment sessions spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart. Collagen Induction Therapy has minimal downtime, few if any side effects, and can be safely performed on most patients including those with Melasma! Post-treatment effects
After getting Collagen Induction Therapy, your skin will appear slightly pink to red immediately post-procedure, with a similar feeling to a mild to moderate sunburn. Additionally, common treatment responses include: dryness, rough skin, tightness, redness, itching, peeling, discomfort, tenderness, and burning. We give each Collagen Induction Therapy patient a soothing gel for post-treatment as well as recommending an aftercare regimen.
